The Crease Online Coaching – Benefits and Key Details

Benefits:

• Analysis from Hockey Canada Certified goalie coaches and current professional goaltenders

• Technical + tactical video analysis of a goaltender’s play in practices, games, or both

• Video analysis can highlight a goaltender’s strengths, areas of improvement and overall trends in a goaltender’s game.

• Can develop specific practice plans for goaltender’s based off the trends seen in video 

• Can provide full game analysis for coaches (tryout/scouting context)

Who will be your on line coach?

GOALTENDING DEPARTMENT

Christian Propp-(Lead on line coach North America)

    •     currently a second year professional goaltender in the ECHL 

    •    Prior to playing professionally, he had a 4 year USPORTS career with Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating with a Bachelor of Kinesiology 

    •    A former 5 year OHL career

    •    A goalie coach for 9 years, working in both private, group, and online environments 

Mat Robson- (Lead on line coach Europe)

    •    Currently a 6 year pro playing in the EIHL, has played in the AHL, ECHL, DEL, League Magnus, Poland

    •    Signed a NHL contract with the Minnesota Wild

    •    Played in the OJHL, BCHL and NCAA with the Minnesota Golden Gophers

    •    A goalie coach the past 10 years, a student of the crease sincew he was 9

    •    Currenlty taking his masters

DRYLAND/ NUTRITON/RECOVERY/ STRECTHING DEPARTMENT

Wesley Garrard  is a Registered Kinesiologist, the owner of ASCEND Rehabilitation, and a professional goalie coach. With extensive knowledge of the body, health, strength and mobility, biomechanics and goaltending

COST

• $1/min if goaltender provides clipped, ready to analyze video 

• If we must watch full game/games, clip the game and then assess, then cost would increase

• Ideally, goalies send their Instat or something similar. The Crease does have instat and if you are on it then we can pull clips from it.

ADDITIONAL COST

• E.g. $25 for a 25 minute video analysis (let’s say goaltender has issues with low walkouts in the video)

then charge an additional $10 for a practice/drill design that’s tailored around working on low walkouts
